Support and advance dental research that contributes to scientific discovery, clinical excellence, and public health improvements
Encourage innovation in dental education and practice to enhance patient care and workforce readiness
CULTURAL SAFETY & CULTURAL COMPETENCE
Strengthen indigenous partnerships to support culturally safe dentistry within dental schools
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Implement strategies to address the growing shortage of qualified academic staff in dental education
Address workforce needs by ensuring graduates are well-prepared to meet the evolving demands of the dental profession
Promote professional development opportunities that are partnered with professional associations, dental schools and other stakeholders to promote consistent and high-quality CPD activities
ADVOCACY
Represent the interests of dental schools in policy discussions and decision-making processes affecting dental education
Advocate for evidence-based policies that enhance oral health outcomes and professional standards
