The Australasian Council of Dental Schools (ACODS) is committed to education and training of dental practitioners in Australia and New Zealand through continuous improvement of dental education and research, which results in research excellence and competent graduates focussed on improving health and well-being.

The core objectives of ACODS are:

To promote excellence in dental and oral health education (teaching, research and service)

To foster communication and relationships with State and Commonwealth Governments, Universities, organised profession and society at large

To provide a network to foster improved communication between members and other groups
